Spent the long weekend on the banks of the Theewaterskloof Dam in the Western Cape. A friend has a smokehouse/deli called the Aphrodisiac Shack (do check it out the link); and we went to visit. Camping on the Friday night on the property – before being blown away in a storm on the Saturday night – where we bunked up in the house.
Good Friday was spent on the dam; took my new wakeboard out for a spin and it was amazing. First time behind a boat in ages (due to a knee injury) and it was like riding a bike 
Saturday was spent holed up inside, while a storm raged outside – playing card games and solidifying friendships.
All in all – an amazing weekend spent with new and old friends in an idyllic location.
